Dear Passengers Release Date: What Has Been Announced

The Dear Passengers release date is "2026". That is the entire official position — the Steam listing for app 4534960 carries a year and nothing finer, there is no preorder, and no price has been published. Anything more specific than the year is either an interpretation or an invention.

The one thing that has firmed up is intent rather than date. In a 17 July interview, FLEXUS founder Semen Kozyura said the team still means to release Dear Passengers in 2026 but will not rush an unpolished build. That supports the year on the store page without narrowing it, and it is the closest thing to a schedule commitment on record.

FLEXUS prepared a Dear Passengers demo for Gamescom 2026 and industry press lists the studio in the Games From Ukraine B2B pavilion for the 26–30 August show. Founder Semen Kozyura had discussed a later public demo; the 2 October official Q&A now confirms that closed tests will happen before release and directs players to Discord for future notices. What still does not exist: a public download, test date, Steam Playtest signup, or published access rules.
