Dear Passengers Steam Wishlist: Save Your Seat in Four Steps

Adding Dear Passengers to your Steam wishlist takes about fifteen seconds and is the only launch alert FLEXUS actually controls. Roughly two million people have already done it — fast enough to put the game in Steam's Top 25 most wishlisted within two days of its reveal. Here are the four steps, what Steam does and does not notify you about, and the full milestone timeline.

01 · THE FOUR STEPS

How to add Dear Passengers to your Steam wishlist

You need a Steam account. You do not need a payment method, and nothing is charged at any point.

  1. 01

    Open the official store page

Go to the Dear Passengers Steam page. Confirm the app ID reads 4534960 and the developer reads FLEXUS — several unrelated apps use similar names.

    APP 4534960
  2. 02

Sign in to the right account

Sign in to the Steam account you actually want the launch email and client notification to reach. Wishlists are per-account, not per-device.

    PER ACCOUNT
  3. 03

    Select “Add to your wishlist”

The button sits directly beneath the media panel, above the game description. It turns into “On Wishlist” once it has registered.

    ONE CLICK
  4. 04

    Check your notification settings

Steam only emails you if wishlist notifications are enabled under your account preferences. Worth confirming now rather than discovering it on release day.

Steam's own wishlist behaviour. A wishlist is not a preorder, a reservation, or an entry into any test.

Two clarifications worth having. A wishlist does not reserve anything and does not grant demo or playtest access — FLEXUS is preparing a Gamescom demo with a public one to follow, and access rules for it have not been published. And if you want the development posts rather than just the launch alert, use the Follow button as well, or the Steam Community hub directly.

03 · THE MILESTONE RUN

How the Dear Passengers wishlist count grew

One of the faster wishlist curves Steam has seen, from a studio with no prior PC catalogue.

  1. REVEAL

    500,000 wishlists within hours

FLEXUS published the Steam page and the 1:58 announcement trailer the same day. Trade coverage logged more than half a million wishlists before the first day was out.

  2. OFFICIAL

    700,000 passengers in 36 hours

The studio's own post reported 700,000 wishlists inside 36 hours and called Dear Passengers the most talked-about game in the world that week.

  3. OFFICIAL

One million, and Steam's Top 25

One million wishlists in under two days took Dear Passengers into the Top 25 most wishlisted games on Steam — with, in FLEXUS's words, no marketing, no paid creators and no ads.

  4. OFFICIAL

    1,500,000 passengers onboard

The 1.5 million post came with artwork and a development note: more mechanics, more unexpected events, more suspicious luggage, and more passengers who should never be near an aircraft.

  5. OFFICIAL VIDEO

    Approaching two million

A 37-second teaser marked the approach to two million wishlists. FLEXUS has not yet announced the milestone as reached.

All of those are wishlists — not sales, downloads, concurrent players or reviews, of which there are none. For the underlying store data, including follower growth of roughly 30,000 inside three days, the Dear Passengers Steam page breakdown covers what the listing and SteamDB each show.

04 · WISHLIST QUESTIONS

Dear Passengers Steam wishlist FAQ

Checked against the Steam listing and FLEXUS's announcement posts on July 31, 2026.

Does wishlisting Dear Passengers cost anything?

No. It is free, requires no payment method, and can be undone at any time from your Steam wishlist page.

Does a wishlist get me into the demo or a beta?

No. It is not a reservation or a signup. FLEXUS is preparing a Gamescom demo and has said a public demo will follow, but no access rules, date or Playtest have been announced — status is on the Dear Passengers Release Date page.

Will Steam tell me when the release date is announced?

Not reliably. Wishlist notifications are built around availability and discounts rather than date changes. Following the game as well as wishlisting it is the better way to catch news posts.

How many people have wishlisted Dear Passengers?

FLEXUS announced 1.5 million on 20 July 2026 and described the total as close to two million on 22 July. Those are developer-reported milestones; live rank can be checked on SteamDB.

Can I wishlist Dear Passengers on console or mobile?

No — Windows PC via Steam is the only announced platform, so there is no other store to wishlist it on. The Dear Passengers Steam page lists what the store does and does not confirm.
